Have you ever wanted to go see what your friends are up to when they are on YoVille? What about heading to a YoRehab party or Forum gathering? If you aren’t sure how to join your friends by using your buddy list, you have come to the right place! This article will explain the step by step procedure on joining a friend live.
Step 1
First and foremost, it is important to know which servers your friends are playing on because the adult server and kid server cannot interact. If you are 18+ years old, you will be on the adult server. If you are 17 years old or under you more than likely are playing on the kids server. It has been said that new accounts are automatically put onto the adult server no matter what your birthday is. This has not been confirmed though. The birthday Zynga goes by is the one on your Facebook or Myspace account. You can visit the apartments of your crew that is on the other server, but you will not be able to join them live.
Step 2
Once you are in YoVille, you will need to have your buddy list turned on. You can do this by clicking the “people”
icon on the right hand side of your screen. It will open your buddy list. The list will appear with the Facebook names of your friends and the YoVille names of the other people you have added that aren’t connected with you on Facebook.
Step 3
You will need to turn your buddy list on if it is not already. On the top of the buddy list pop off, there will be a green button saying “Sign On”. Click it. You may lag for a minute while it is updating the list of your friends that are online. If you want to turn your list off, click the same button. It will say “Sign Off” this time. Easy peasy right?
Step 4
To join your friends live, you will have to locate their name. The friends that are online will pop up on the top of the list. Find your friend’s name and click the button to the left “Join Live”. This will bring the loading bar above your head. It will take you to the place where your friend is. Sometimes you will just miss them, especially if they are hopping events or changing rooms. You may get stuck trying to join your friends from time to time. If this occurs, try going to one of the YoVille places (like the Speedway or Fashion Store) and try and join them from there. This almost always works!
