Dear Journal,
I have just started to get back in the routine of spreading the love of YoRehab by making events and giving everyone the opportunity to gain knowledge of what YoRehab is all about. When making events I meet with loyal fans and also meeting new ones as well but I always keep in mind too that not everyone is a fan of our priceguide. Now you’re probably wondering why I’m saying that not everyone is a fan of YoRehab? Well, as an Agent a lot of us happen to host in-game events and we do get to meet a lot of YoVillians daily that will either give us positive or negative feedback about the site.
When hosting events and receiving a lot of criticism I usually tend to ask myself this ‘how could YoVillians not like a priceguide that happens to be good for the YoVille community?’ After all without a price guide many YoVillians would not have knowledge of the common prices available on the many items that are in game. On many occassions I have met with so many YoVillians that give me a lot of criticism. The ones who criticise voice their opinion by saying some of the things like: ‘The price guide is never updated. When will it be updated?’ ‘Your prices are wrong on the price guide on this particular section and I’m selling 6 to 10 times more than what’s said on the price guide.’
Many YoVillians even come in and state that we are pricejackers or that we even lower the prices on items and wait for all of YoRehab Agents to buy 08 costumes. I know for a fact that if we were to do that how could we still have so many supporters? Not only that but Agent N and M only pick the most loyalist players to become apart of YoRehab. Recently I have chatted with Agent J about our priceguide and I had asked several questions and she provided me with some answers. We had talked about how many items were posted on the priceguide and did you know that we have over nearly 17,000 items priced? Wow I must say that that is seriously a lot of items that our price guide definitely works hard on! I had even asked J how many categories we have on the priceguide and she had responded that we currently have about 522 categories.
Many players should realize that items are always appearing in YoVille. As the themes and years go by in game and of course that means our price guide will continuously have items being added. Did you know that our price guide currently has 12 price guide Agents? Which isn’t even including the many Agents that we have in training. After knowing all of this information I certainly now have an even greater appreciation for the price guide Agents here at YoRehab. Shout out goes to all of our price guide Agents I know for sure you work very hard and the job isn’t easy!
Also why is it that I can never hold events without being criticized about the amount of YoCoins or items that I have on my YoVille account? Here at YoRehab I would just like to say that all Agents work hard for what they have which consists of buying and selling just like everyone else. A lot of YoVillians make assumptions and try to say that we manipulate the price guide and that isn’t what YoRehab is all about. When I am asked what an item should be sold at I tell everyone always that “it’s your item and your price.” As an Agent I am never biased and I can understand the many concerns of YoVillians which might be seeing the items that they had once bought at a high priced rate and watch their items dropping in prices. What many players don’t see is that we also take a gamble in the game just like anyone else. It’s all about ‘supply and demand’ and did you know as an Agent many of us use the priceguide to look up items that we have to sell?
Usually I notice that we always go for mid-price YoRehab or lowest. I notice that when I sell my items in game as an Agent no one really ever buys anything from me or they try to lowball me and why? Is it because I’m an Agent? I believe so although I am hoping that isn’t the answer. Also I’d like to take the time to explain one more thing ‘that not in anyway is YoRehab affliliated with Zynga nor do we get any kind of special treatment from Zynga.
Well journal this entry has to now come to an end. It’s the weekend and I plan on spending some quality time with my friends and family.
