This is my first ever journal entry, I hope I do you proud!
Not too long ago via the Yoville Blog, the Ninjas announced an NYC Collectible Contest. I’m not a very good artist, but I love to try! So, I started thinking of possible ideas and right away, a Hot Dog Cart came to mind! So, I spent a few hours drawing up my Hot Dog Cart and submitted my design to the YoVille Forum entry thread.
Well, to my surprise, the YoVille fans actually voted my Hot Dog Cart as a winner! Needless to say, I was so excited! There were so many fabulous entries, many much more professional looking than mine! I never thought in a million years that I’d have a chance!
After what seemed like weeks of waiting, my NYC Keke Hotdog Cart was finally released into the game…and it was coins! Oh my goodness, that meant that Yovillians could actually afford to buy it! I bolted to the Furniture Store to buy my Hot Dog Cart right away! As soon as I got back home and went to place my new Hot Dog Cart in my room, I was completely devastated! Looking down at my hot dog cart … yes DOWN … I couldn’t believe how small it was! I thought, what have you done with my hot dog cart?
I immediately turned to the Forums where I noticed that I wasn’t the only disappointed Yovillian. Everyone was up in arms! I immediately wrote an email to Zynga and informed them of how disappointed I was and how the Forums were abuzz with complaints. Of course, I received back the typical Zynga response of how they’ll be sure to pass along the information to the development team. I also turned to the Ninjas and voiced my frustrations and wouldn’t you know it a day after messaging Turquoise Ninja, I got word that they re-sized my hot dog cart!
It just goes to show you that Zynga really can do anything within the game, and even if we don’t always feel like it’s the case, Zynga sometimes does listen to their fans! Thank you to everyone that voted for the NYC Keke Hotdog Cart, I am truly grateful to you! And thank you to everyone that voiced their opinions on the size of the cart, together we really can make a difference!
