Dear Journal,
I absolutely love to shop and this time, I have definitely shopped til’ I dropped! Recently in YoVille, the ‘Oktoberfest’ theme had just left stores. Everything was leaving stores and with 20% off what a deal right? I had to snag the deal being the true shopaholic that I am. I remembered when I wrote an article about being a shopaholic and I had titled it ‘Confessions Of A YoShopaholic‘. I wanted to find out if there were other shopaholics in YoVille just like me and sure enough there were people which happened to be a huge relief. This time around, I believe I have become even more of a shopaholic for I was still shopping and had seen the timers run all the way from ten seconds to zero!
When shopping and hoarding items in my YoHome, I was moving items frantically and guess what? Yep, you guessed it! The timer had gone out on me. What a huge disappointment it was to shop and see the timers decrease so quickly while shopping and to have my transactions not take place. You know sometimes I wonder why I always wait till the last minute to do my YoShopping.. Also, why do I end up buying so much of each item when I know it’s leaving stores? I could always make events later and find the items I have missed.
I then start to think “what if I don’t ever find the items that I’m looking for”. On the Oktoberfest theme, I spent about 200k or a little more on items. Have I gone crazy or what? I wonder how many other YoVillians out there literally shop down to the last seconds that are given on timers. I wonder if they spend hundred-thousands of YoCoins on items that are leaving stores and available at discounted prices. I surely hope that I am not alone and I wonder why Zynga doesn’t extend the sales by extra 2 minutes if you are still shopping. It would be nice if there was a little time extension while shopping a soon to be expired theme.
Well journal, I’m going to have to end this entry now so I can get some sleep.
