Get To Know Agent Gem: Your Questions Answered

You have asked the questions, now Agent Gem gives you the answers you have all been waiting for!

Earlier this week, Agent Gem posted her biography for all the fans to read, and get to know a little about her life on YoVille and her real life. We asked you to submit your questions for Agent Gem to answer for your chance to win TWO COLLECTIBLES! Here are the questions that Agent Gem has chosen to answer:

Kitzy Beaugrade (Emily) - Does being an Agent have its advantages or disadvantages?

Hi Emily, I love being an Agent as I love meeting people and chatting both in game and out so this is one advantage for me – being an Agent helps me to meet a lot of nice people. I have made a lot of new friends both from YoVille and through being an Agent, so another advantage there.  However, going to sales in YoVille with my Agent name showing is a sure fire way to get me kicked from sales, as many do not like us Agents, sadly. A disadvantage. Also, I am very wary about using my Agent status for personal gain so I never barter for items at sales, (the ones I don’t get kicked out of lol), I always just pay the full asking price. A teeny disadvantage I might say.

Thank you for your question Emily.

Hayley Mac - My question is, why don’t they have an interactive house in Yoville. I would love to make jewelry or do artwork. A beauty/barber shop could be fun also. Do you think it’s possible to have us perform any kind of job? How about being a mechanic or maybe a farm hand. If we could seek employment in Yoville, what kind of job would you like Agent Gem?

Hi Hayley, I love your ideas for job interaction in YoVille. They could be very interesting and sound like a lot of fun also. I can quite imagine working as a Yo-hairdresser and having the option to give my yofriends ‘bad haircuts’. Maybe we could have settings from trainee to fully qualified and as a trainee, we can only give bad cuts. I’m picturing also working as a Yo-beautician and being able to stick my YoFriends eyebrows upside down or stick on two that don’t match and draw on a really bad lipstick job. All sounds really great fun doesn’t it?

Thank you Hayley

Aaron Chambers - What was the reason other than you love YoVille to become an Agent on YoRehab?

Hi Aaron, Aside from the love of YoVille and the dream of becoming an Agent which I always had, but never thought I would actually get to be one. I heard through a friend of an opportunity working within the price guide. I had always as I said, wanted to become an Agent, but, the price guide didn’t really appeal to me, possibly because I am creative and like to be creative – the price guide requires “factual”. I didn’t want to miss an opportunity, however, I wasn’t sure if I would be happy working on the price guide, so, I made an inquiry to see what else could be applied for within YoRehab. When I heard back that there was a section for writers – for the YoRehab blog, that was all I needed to know. I love to write, always have. So, I applied to be a writer. I was accepted to train and on a trial period. After two weeks, I made Agent and the rest is history, here I am, still writing to my hearts content.

Thank you Aaron for your question.

Tjay Castle - if you we’re to pick one place you would love to go to a grand vacation what would it be? And You’re only allowed to take 1 person with you who would it be?

Hi Tjay, This is a bit tricky because, I would love to plan a big holiday/vacation to meet all the other Agents. Unless they were all going to meet in one place also though, this would mean me flying all over the world as there are many of us and we are dotted about far and wide. This really would be great though as I would love to meet all the people I work with in person as we chat together, work together, some even hang out in game together. YoRehab is like a big family. Now, as you said “pick a place” for a vacation – singular, meaning one place, that holiday would not cut it would it? So then I would probably say that I would like to go to somewhere like Spain for a holiday, I have only ever been to the countryside and in my own country – never outside of it so this would be quite an adventure for me. As for who I would take, well, that would be my youngest daughter Emily. Not favoritism, just that my older two are in there teens and would probably not want to come on holiday with me anyway now.

Thank you for your question Tjay.

Now we come to the last question, which Agent Gem has chosen as her favorite. Congratulations, Lori Napier – you have won two collectibles!

Lori Napier - Have you ever considered trying to merge your two worlds? Example…like trying to come up with a craft store in Yoville (besides the one in the factory) or even having a pet care center where people can “work” or take their animals to care for or be cared for?

Hi Lori, I would love to be able to recreate in YoVille all of my hobbies, a craft store sounds lovely. However, I don’t think I could find the items that would lend itself to one, I will have a look around and see now that you have put the idea there. The Pet care center is a lovely idea and I will most definitely have a go at this, in fact I will probably go off and start work on this as soon as I’ve finished writing. I am excited about the prospect already.

Thank you Lori for sharing your ideas with me.
