Chat Begins- “Hey you there?”.. “Anyone There?” No Response..That is how a typical Facebook conversation can go, no wheres! Have you ever wondered if you were being ignored, or if the person even read the message? Well now you can tell for sure whether or not the person you are chatting with has viewed it or not. We’ve all been there before- The ignored chat. Then you start thinking to yourself, maybe they just didn’t see the Instant Message. However, Facebook has added a new chat feature. We’re not sure if any of you were aware of this new feature, but if you look closely and pay attention to your chat box you will see what we have come across.
If you notice in the chat box, at the bottom the last IM sent was from Agent GG to a fan named Cupid. Then a little under that, a message was set in the box as “seen” and a viewed time. This means that Cupid had viewed the message just not responded. Once Cupid would start to reply, it will remove “seen” and replaces it with “Cupid is now typing…”, this is how you will know they are definitely responding to your instant message. If they feel the conversation is done and do not feel the need to respond you will be left with “Seen at _:_pm”.
So before you decide not to respond to a good friend of yours on Facebook, be sure you’re ready to read the message and respond! Otherwise you will have some unhappy friends, and we would hate for that to happen! Hope this information was useful to you all! Happy Chatting!!
