The new Animated Bridge may not be all it’s cracked up to be. Read on to find out why.The Animated Bridge, priced at 4 YoCash in the furniture store is a drawbridge which like usual drawbridge’s, rises and falls on chains as a real life one would do. However, a real life drawbridge would supposedly allow the user access to the property at the other side of it. That is the theory and purpose of them, to my knowledge.
This is however a Zynga-made bridge though, so perhaps I have got it wrong. Or maybe Zynga has got it wrong. Or maybe it’s all just gone wrong. For whatever reason, players appear to be having trouble accessing their castles after placing the drawbridge.
To research this problem, I purchased the Medieval Castle and placed the Animated Bridge at the front entrance.
As you can see, here is me in the screenshot next to the Animated Bridge which I have placed at the entrance of the Castle. What you also might wish to know is, this is also me trying to get into the Castle now that the Animated Bridge is in place. All that happens is either the Animated Bridge highlights with a yellow glow, or…………
….as you can see from the above screenshot, the bridge starts to go up and down in a most amusing way – but still not allowing you access to the Castle.
Now, I have heard that if you place the bridge in a particular way, you can then get in to the castle and also you can get in if the bridge is up – as in closed. However, I have messed about with it for some time and cannot figure a way to get in with the bridge in place. Now that is not to say that there is no way to get in to the Castle if using the bridge or having the bridge out front, just that if there is a way to get in while it is placed – then I was unable to find it. I did however have fun trying though. (Not sure whether this was 4Yc worth of fun trying, but still fun nonetheless).
Have you bought the Castle and Animated Bridge? Have you found a way to make them work well together – allowing you access into the Castle? If not, have you had fun trying? We would love to hear from you. Please share your thoughts in the comments box below.
