Many players have noticed certain items literally poofing from their inventories this week, have you?
A strange thing is happening in YoVille this week. Players possessions are disappearing, literally poofing into thin air. The items that are poofing YoVille inventories everywhere seem to be from a particular group of items, mainly 08 collectibles. They are:
Rediculously Large Pumpkin
Celtic Cross
Black Chair w/Ottoman
2008 Angel Ornament
2008 Reindeer Ornament
Beer Can Tree
2011 Christmas Tree
Deco trees
There may be other items that this is happening with, but these are the ones that we have heard of so far and they may not be all of them. Early information we have is that if you have these items placed in rooms, then avoid editing the rooms they are in at the present time and do not remove these items from the room to the inventory as they will disappear.
Some players have reported this to Zynga support, but have yet to receive any real help or feasible explanation for this problem. It seems that one reply that has been received by several players is that the items which are disappearing from inventories are items that are only made to be traded once. This “one solution fits all” doesn’t seem quite appropriate really, as it doesn’t explain why the items that players haven’t tried to trade are disappearing. We are awaiting clearer clarification on that score.
A piece of information imparted to us by Peter Barbera, a YoVille player who himself found items missing, discovered that uninstalling YoVille and reinstalling it made the items reappear. (We have not tried this personally and so we cannot comment on its success or whether this is a safe or recommended practice).
We will bring you updates as soon as we have any real information regarding this problem and as soon as viable replies are received from customer support.

The items appear in the inventory but disappear when in edit mode so if you have these items placed in a room and not in the inventory then it is advisable at the present time to leave them in the room and not remove them to the inventory, nor to edit the current room that any of the above items are in.
