As many of you know nitro drinks can be very valuable, especially during double YoCoin events. Knowing how to collect the maximum number of nitro drinks will help you to maximize your earning potential.
If you are new to collecting nitro drinks and want to know where to find your nitros, how to use them, how to ask for more, and how to collect them from your friends then you are in luck. In this article, we will cover everything you need to know about nitro drinks.
While it seems simple there is a formula that if followed will allow you to collect upwards of 100 or more nitro drinks in a single day.
You can collect nitro drinks two ways – by posting your link for your friends to send you a drink and by helping your neighbors by sending them a drink. When you help your neighbors, you will get one too.
You can ask your friends for help every 12 hours and can receive up to 10 nitro drinks from a single request. However, if you collect any drinks by helping your neighbors, then your second request of the day will lead your friends in game to a message that says they cannot help anymore friends for the day.
The rules are simple.
A) Post a help request once every 24 hours and wait until you have collected all 10 drinks from that request. Once you have collected all 10 drinks, start collecting drinks from your friends by sending them one in return. Note that if you collect from a neighbor you CAN’T post a second time that day. You must wait 24 hours to be able to post again. If you post again your friend will get an error message.
B) Post your help request and collect all 10 drinks from your friends. Then simply wait 12 hours and post again to collect another 10 drinks.

Asking for help.
If you aren’t sure where to find your nitro drink or how to post a request for them see the photos below.
Locate and click the backpack at the top of your YoVille screen.
Locate and click “Ask for Help” at the top of the energy pop-up. (Note that in your backpack energy inventory the nitro count only shows two numbers. Once you have more than 100 you will need to look in your Inventory via the yellow crate to see the correct amount that you have).
Collecting from your friends.
If you decide to go with option A, you will need to know how to collect drinks from your friends. Below you will find the steps needed to do this.
- One search your Facebook wall for nitro drink request.
- Click on “Send Energy & Get Energy”.
- Wait for YoVille to load and click on the pop-ups. There will be two nitros: one to send a drink and one to get a drink for yourself.
If all 10 drinks have been sent you will receive a pop-up saying sorry and explaining that all rewards have been claimed.
Using your nitro drinks.
Using your drinks is very simple. Below are the quick and easy steps for cashing in your drinks.
- Click on your backpack.
- Click on your nitro drink. Your energy will increase each time you click on a drink until you have reached a full 100 energy.
- Now go work at the factory or do the YoVille jobs.
That’s all there is to it. Pretty simple right?
Many YoVillians collect nitro drinks and save them for the rare double coin events that Zynga holds from time to time. This means if you are at top pay at the factory you will ear 1200 YoCoins per 100 energy.
