It’s only July, but already YoVillians’ minds are turning to Halloween…
Halfway through July, Halloween frenzy is just starting to awaken in YoVille. The first thread appeared in the YoVille.com discussion forum. You can read it HERE. YoVillians are asking for everything from traditional bats and fog and gravestones to more unusual things like a river of blood with a decaying bridge across it. Quite a mixed bag of Halloween wishes, and a strong indication that they cannot wait for October 31st to arrive in YoVille!
We decided to ask several YoVillians the same four questions, and these are the answers that they gave:
Ingrid:
1 – What are your expectations for Halloween this year – that is, what do you think Zynga will release in YoVille?
Personally I think they should first try to fix all the glitches before they release anything at all! And try to listen to the people what they want in the game, now for what I think they would release… To be honest I have no clue, but hopefully no “copy cats” as of some people seem to be recognizing old ideas from different themes, just more developed into a newer style.
2 – What would you really like to see released?
I would love to see more coin items in stores , as the same reason of July 1st (lights out in y.YoVille) the prices of yocash are getting higher and higher and less coin items are released, I would also really like to see new ideas of furniture….I was sitting and thinking the other day what if you could design your own Halloween pet and buy it, you know the normal breed, colour and style, that would be a great idea. I’t seems like less YoVillians have been playing since about 2 months ago several agents too have quit Yoville due to family troubles or YoVille related trouble. This will sure bring some YoVillian faces back to YoVille.
3 – What did you think of last year’s releases?
Honestly to be truthful there was not much furniture released, was more of decorations like posters , souveneirs, lamps, etc.. And well I must say the clothes and accessories I really loved there was lots of different styles for every YoVillians taste. I sure loved the outfits very much!
4 – Which was your favourite year, and why?
Mine I would have to say 2008, because that’s when zynga and YoVille started to release some themes with accesories and also still those costumes which today’s cost a fortune! I was yet still not a yovillian but I’m still a fan of it. They also had very funny and cute themes like MTV which was a very big edition in YoVille.
‘Blu:
1 – What are your expectations for Halloween this year – that is, what do you think Zynga will release in YoVille?
I think they will try and do a ‘theme’ like last year but it won’t really work as well as 2008/2009.
2 – What would you really like to see released?
Lots of ghouly, ghostly stuff, (both dark and cartoony to cater for both kinds of peeps)… similar to Castle, old Halloween Items. I would like them to do a theme – in line with perhaps an old film or novel – but one that contains ‘proper’ Halloween elements (e.g. Any of the old Vampire films, King arthur Myth, Treasure Island, etc) OR acknowledge Samhain Festival (fire festival) that Wiccans celebrate (Lots of scope there for burning Straw men, magick wands, witches costumes, warts and all, etc!)
3 – What did you think of last year’s releases?
Disappointing – only a very few items that I really liked. Disappointing costumes in particular.
4 – Which was your favourite year, and why?
2008/2009 and the Castle theme (can’t remember that year sorry) Because it had all the bones, blood, funny eating plants, great costumes etc.
Fender Ypy:
1. What are your expectations for Halloween this year – that is, what do you think Zynga will release in YoVille?
Some of my expectations for Halloween this year are items that were released in 2009 for Halloween, full costumes that are actually Halloween costumes and are known for Halloween also furniture that actually goes with Halloween. I think zynga will have a mixture of 2010 items and 2011 items released in 2012 not the same items but items similar to those years.
2. What would you really like to see released?
I would really like to see full costumes released that are coins or low Yocash price.
3. What did you think of last year’s releases?
Last years releases were okay some of the items I liked but their were a lot of expensive furniture items that were 9-12 Yocash. The clothing was okay kind of fake looking.
4. Which was your favourite year, and why?
My favorite year is 09 because the costumes and furniture were realistic and were cheap and really nice.
Tara:
1. What are your expectations for Halloween this year – that is, what do you think Zynga will release in YoVille?
We can certainly expect steeper Yocash prices (sadly) and I predict that Zynga will again have traditional Halloween items for the newer Yoville members.
2. What would you really like to see released?
Honestly, I’d like to see some of the ’08 and ’09 items re-released for newer members – even if they’re not exact replicas. Last year, I shopped around and purchased a few ’08 and ’09 items at events, but there is no way that new members can afford items at those crazy prices.
3. What did you think of last year’s releases?
I did enjoy last year’s items as there were quite a few choices as well as some new and interesting items (broken stagecoach, animated grim reapers, and the Spellbound collection were all very nice).
4. Which was your favourite year, and why?
My favorite year was ’09. The prices were reasonable and the items are still very much sought after from that year.
Isabell:
1. What are your expectations for Halloween this year – that is, what do you think Zynga will release in YoVille?
I am sure they will release one or 2 costumes that are characters in a action or scary movie, but guessing the exact characters is tough.
2. What would you really like to see released?
I would love to see a Harry Potter theme released,crossing my fingers for it to happen.
3. What did you think of last year’s releases?
Last year’s releases were quite good.I liked the Vampiress and Pumpkin fairy a lot, but also some of the furniture.
4. Which was your favourite year, and why?
One favorite Halloween year I don’t have, as each year’s releases had their own unique charme and I would not miss any of them :=
