Gold Rush has ended, but the daily free casino spins have not returned!
Across Facebook, in the YoVille forums, and in game, YoVillians are not happy! When Zynga launched the Gold Rush last week, the daily free casino spins which greeted most, if not all, YoVillians when they logged into the game stopped appearing. Now the Gold Rush has ended, but there is no sign of the daily casino spins!
But why? Unhappy players are asking if this is a glitch. Threads have been started in the Discussions forum and the Bug & Bug reporting forum of the YoVille discussion boards. A more likely explanation is that the program for the casino spins was temporarily switched off while the Gold Rush was running. But then we would expect it to be switched back on now. Unless, of course, Zynga has got plans for something different in its place.
Currently there is a survey posted in the Discussions forum, asking players what they thought of the Gold Rush. It has crossed our minds that perhaps Zynga is considering introducing the Gold Rush as a permanent feature of YoVille. the first obvious place to put it would be inside the casino itself. but it could also be a good alternative to the daily casino spins.
Of course, this is all conjecture. It may just be that someone in the techie department needs to flip that switch and give the players their spins back. All we can say right now is “watch this space!’.
