We all know far too well how important our friends participation is in our everyday YO lives can be. We need our neighbors to help us by clicking our nitro energy request, our co-signing rallies and much more.
Though sometimes it seems no matter how many neighbors you have you just cannot get enough help to complete your task. As many of you know there are places around Facebook and on the YoVille.com forums that you can share your links asking for help. However, you may not know where to find your links or how to copy and share them. In this how-to article, we’ll teach you where to find your link, and how to copy, paste, and share it.
Sharing your help link is as simple as a copy and paste if you know where to look. Below you will find instructions for coping and sharing your link from three browsers, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 8 and Mozilla FireFox.
Please note that all examples shown here are based on a request for Nitro energy, but these steps can be applied to other YoVille wall posts and requests as well.
Using Google Chrome Browser
To copy your help link using Google Chrome browser, you first need to post an energy request and other request on your Facebook wall. Once you have your request posted on your wall/profile, follow these steps below:
- First locate your post on your Facebook wall.
- Find the “Send Energy & Get” button. It’s beside the “Like and Comment” links.
- Place your mouse over “Send Energy & Get” button.
- Right click with your mouse.
- Click on “Copy Link Address“.
- To post your link, just right click with your mouse, and click “Paste“.

Now you have your help link saved on your computers virtual clipboard, and you can paste it anywhere you want to share it. To paste, you simply right click with your mouse and click “Paste“.
Using Internet Explorer 8.
The steps for finding and coping your link in Internet Explorer 8 closely mirrors those for Google Chrome. The one exception is the final step. Below are the steps for IE8.
- First locate your post on your Facebook wall.
- Locate “Send Energy & Get” it is located next to the “Like and Comment” links.
- Place your mouse over “Send Energy & Get”, right click with your mouse and click “Copy Shortcut“.

Again you now have your help link saved on your computer’s virtual clipboard and you can paste it anywhere you want to share it. To paste, you simply right click with your mouse and click “Paste”.
Using Mozilla FireFox Browser
Once again the steps for finding and sharing help link in FireFox are much like those in Google Chrome and IE8. Below are those steps.
- First locate your post on your Facebook wall.
- Locate “Send Energy & Get” it is located next to the “Like and Comment” links.
- Place your mouse over “Send Energy & Get”, right click with your mouse and click “Copy Link Location“.
- To post your link, just right click with your mouse, and click “Paste“.

Again, your help link is now saved on your computer’s virtual clipboard and you can paste it anywhere you want to share it. To paste, you simply right click with your mouse and click “Paste”.
It’s important to remember that if you copy something else before sharing your help link you, will have to repeat the above steps in order to share your link. Also, your help link will change with every wall post, so you will need to copy your help link each time you post in order to share the new request.
One last note, please be kind to your Facebook friends and ask their permission before copying and sharing any of their help request. You do not want to be known as a nitro vampire.
