Privacy Check! How To Lock Your Inventory

YoVille News DefaultAttention YoVillians! As you may be aware, on YoVille.com you can change your privacy settings.

There are a few options in your privacy settings, that you should all be aware of. If you don’t know by now every individual has their very own YoVille Profile. Here your friends can see your clubs, inventory, messages, friends and even your badges. Some of these privileges can be changed however just with a push of a button. Recently, many inventories that were previously locked are now open again, so we want to be sure everyone has their privacy set to how they want it.

So if you’re not very sure of how to change your privacy settings, heres a short guide as to how. If you go to http://yoville.com/home/, this link will take you to your Feed Page from YoVille, here you can see what your friends are up to in the YoCommunity. After you have viewed this page, on the right hand top corner there is a picture of your avatar and your in game name. It will look like this:

The option Privacy Settings circled above should be the one you want to click. This will open another pop up on the page that will give you advanced options in your YoVille.Com Profile Privacy. There are three options in here, Inventory, Messages and Photos (No longer used). This pop up will look like this:

You can make these portions viewable to everyone, buddies or no one except yourself. Lately many have kept their inventories and messages hidden from everyone. It’s suggested you do so, just for your own safety.

So there you have it! That is how you lock your inventory and messages. Be sure you check your privacy settings often, as YoVille unlocks them without notifying us. Have a fun time playing YoVille! Be Safe!
