The follow up to the mega-popular FarmVille game is soon to be released on Facebook.
Zynga has unveiled plans to release a follow up to the ever popular farm building Facebook game at their recent “Unleashed Event.” The game will be FarmVille 2 and is rumored to be called “Big Harvest”. No date has been announced for the release, however, an official FarmVille 2 page has now appeared on Facebook.
(Please beware of fake and scam FarmVille 2 pages of which there are several at present).
The graphics are said to be much improved on the newest version which will be arriving soon on a screen near you. Here is a screenshot from the new official page. We are unsure whether this is a picture of actual graphics or an artists impression.
Looks cute huh?! Well if you play FarmVille already, don’t get too excited because we are told that it won’t be possible to import your original FarmVille farm over to the new game. That having been said, it looks great and quite exciting.
We have little or no details of the gameplay, however, we can reveal that it is Zynga’s first 3D game. Apparently water in the game acts in a more ‘lifelike’ way than in it’s predecessor and also the game also has more social elements and a lot more crafting. The crops that you harvest are what you use in the game to make things which you then use to make other things, like on a natural farm.
